With Jesus Christ's birthday upon us, I have decided to launch this new exciting program for local Chrisitan Parishes and Churches.    This service/program includes: 1, On site recording (with exception to overdubs at my North Oxford, MA studio) , 2, Mixdown 3, Mastering and digital release.   Packages: Music Group - 1 song pkg. Includes; 75% off on-site recording. 3 hour maximum. $75.00 * Price includes 2 hour set up. Clock starts after 2 hours or when recording prep. work is complete. Whatever comes first. If you have a music tech savy person to assist in set up it would be of great help to the project. Band/group will need to be set up beforehand, extra, carpeting under drums, instruments such as guitars and keyboards will be set at low enough levels and speakers away from drums. I will access your current mic situation and provide mics where the band cannot or for quality purposes. All performers, singers should come prepared and with a set of headhones with 1/4" jacks. We will not however be using headphnes for the initial basic session as this will be recorded live to 8 tracks. The remote session is considered a "basics" where emphasis is placed on Bass and drums. That said, I will record guitar, keys and one vocal. When the basics have been recorded we will then record any mising vocals or instrument parts by dubbing them in. If time does not allow this due to session time or performers' then the overdub can be scheduled during the mix time at the studio. * For large vocal groups, I will record one in basics, then one group overdub and then at the studio, each section (up to 6). In this case, there will be an added cost for more than 6 vocals. $25 per section.   Overdubs and Mixdown at the Eccentric Musician Wizardry Studio As far as overdubs, it is difficult to prepare a schedule as things change but it is better to have one prepared than not.  It could be a bass line that needs to be re-done or a guitar phrase. These players should listen to the playback of thier specific recordings during basics to decide if any overdubs are needed. The names and phone numbers of all players should be available to the producer if there are any discoveries during mixdown. Aside from the above, prescheduled overdubs will most likely be vocal recordings and will be determined once the producer reviews the materials submitted by the music conductor. This part of the package includes 2 overdubs at the studio prior to mixdown or during.  This package includes a 3 hour block mix-down session, one client sit in session at end and one re-mix session if neccessary. The cost for the client sit-in and remix is being waived as it the additional time so long as it does not exceed 1 hour.   Typically a 3 hour mix session is $75.00 per hour. The special pricing on this package knocks it down to $25.00 per hour.   Mastering Session 1.5 hours - $37.00. Delivery of product in the following files will be provided post mastering in the following file types; MP3, Wav and Flac on a client provided thumbdrive of SD card. Things you should know: Keep in mind, as far theses packages, remote recording set ups will not include top of the line equipment nor can one expect superiour results given the conditions of the recording enviroment and unforseen, unknown circumstances.
